Little Sprouts
(18 months - 2,5 years)
Maximum 7 Children per session
These were the first and original sessions offered by Little Footprints. They are 2 hour ‘play-dates’ with a few friends in a group where they explore, question, and develop through sensory and play provocations. In these sessions we bring in little circle times, snack times and deep exploration activities. We encourage sensory, outdoor, creative and messy play, along with more focused activities such as puzzles, construction and stories.

PLEASE NOTE:
We allow the children to settle-in at their own pace at Little Footprints. We encourage a caregiver/parent to join your child until they are ready to say goodbye. This can take anything from 2 weeks to 6 months. We support and communicate with you throughout this process . We encourage you to play with your child and slowly step back as they get comfortable with the space. When we feel they are ready, we will take the next necessary steps to encourage your child to playing independently in these sessions.

Little Seedlings
(2,5 - 4,5 years)
Maximum 15 Children per session
These sessions are for the children who are ready for longer small group sessions. They offer the chance for deeper explorations into themes, discussions and interests. They are usually for the children moving up from the 2 hour Play-date Sessions. Children will share a snack and lunch (packed by parents) with their friends. The children will take on more responsibilities in the sessions and have more agency in their learning. This encourages further independence and confidence in their abilities, and a chance to deeply engage in their wonders and interests, through play.
Time: 08:00-12:00
Frequency: 2-4 days a week
Day Options: Monday - Thursday
